The City Street Department Takes Care of Our Streets & More

When it comes to the upkeep of our city streets and public right-of-ways, you can rely on the dedicated team at the Hurricane Street Department. Services encompass a wide range of essential tasks, including maintaining street signs, ensuring clear city streets, efficient snow removal, easement mowing, tree trimming, curb sweeping and stormwater catch basin clearance. Initiatives also focus on beautification efforts and park projects that make our city even more appealing.

The Recycling Center is Open:
Monday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Closed from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch.

The City of Hurricane Recycling Center Accepts the Following Items:

White Paper
Used Motor Oil
Used Transmission Fluid
*Brush (8″ maximum in diameter)

*Brush is only accepted on Fridays and Saturdays.
