Hurricane City Park, located adjacent to the water reservoir on State Route 34 in Hurricane, is a fine facility for summer fun. Picnic areas, playgrounds, areas for basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, skateboarding and walking or jogging are all available.

The park, established in the early 1970's, is picturesque and available for family gatherings, class reunions or school outings.

• The rental fee is $50.00 for the entire day.

• Restroom facilities are available.

• Fishing in the lake is available from the handicapped fishing pier on the reservoir.

• All shelters have electricity except for #5 & #6.

• Shelters 1,2,3 & 7 have water.
